The Peninsula Waves July School Holiday Clinics were a huge success. Over 50 participants attended each day to learn a range of skills and strategies to improve their netball abilities. Our amazing Melbourne Vixen Mwai Kumwenda attended both clinics and was warmly welcomed by all of her adoring fans. The girls were taught about correct landing technique and injury prevention by our Peninsula Sports Medicine Group’s, accredited physiotherapist who delivered the Netball Australia Knee Program for Juniors.
Our VNL Division One Assistant Coach and Training Team Development Coach Michelle Mashado lead the clinics with support from our VNL athletes; Jessica Maher (Championship Captain), Milly Haugen (Division One) and Abuk Kenyang (19/Under). Here is some of the feedback we received:
