Project Manager - May 3, 2018
The High Performance Pathway (HPP) Project Manager will provide the drive & leadership for the delivery of high performance pathway programs as detailed in the High Performance Program’s Strategic Plan across the Mornington Peninsula region. The Project Manager will embody the values of this program: Excellence, Development, Integrity, Growth & Enjoyment.
Reporting to Peninsula Waves Administrator and Frankston & District Netball Association Board of Management. Fixed term (2 years) with the potential to be ongoing.
Based in Frankston, the program will be delivered to various loications across the Mornington Peninsula, Frankston, Nepean & Casey areas.
The HPP provides a unique high performance program for athletes to excel in netball and in life. The Project Manager will lead & execute such initiatives as: school netball engagement program, netball clinics, high performance camps, junior leadership & coach program, coach & umpire development workshops and clinics, talented athlete scholarship, along with a dedicated communications & marketing strategy to ensure the program reaches the community.
The Project Manager will be pivotal to the program’s professionalism, delivery, success and ultimately, establish it for a life beyond the initial 2 year commitment. The Project Manager will implement the HPP Strategic Plan as well as utilising the Work plan and Budget, refining and adding greater detail as the program is developed to its full potential.
You will be a dynamic leader and an excellent communicator with an ability to build positive and collaborative relationships and credibility with athletes, coaches, umpires and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of how to develop athletes through a performance pathway including knowledge of the Victorian and Australian frameworks.
This role ensures that the vision of the HPP is realised by providing a high performance pathway to empower athletes, coaches, umpires & administrators to achieve success. The HPP will strengthen the sport of netball across the region.
The HPP Project Manager will contribute to a positive organisational culture which is focused on delivering results and excellence across all levels of the netball pathway.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
– Current Drivers Licence.
– Current Working with Children Check
– Willingness to undergo relevant Police check
– Relevant tertiary qualification in business, administration or communication desirable.
– Experience in planning & managing intricate programs, projects & events that involve the engagement of a wide range of stakeholders in their successful delivery.
– A thorough knowledge & understanding of netball high performance pathways.
SALARY – Part time 0.5 FTE
$70,000 Pro Rata
